Upon my return from Wexford Racecourse (see previous post) I had some time to kill prior to my flight back to Bristol.

So decided to double up and visit Leopardstown for a quick looksee

Being a grade 1 course Leopardstown has facilities to match. I didn’t take a picture of the stands but imagine Cheltenham or Newmarket and you won’t be far off the mark in respect to viewing. What struck me were the facilities behind the stands, outstanding!

With Balconies to review the parade ring, bars, and even an onsite nightclub, Leopardstown is party town for this race goer.

Afterwards decided to take a drink at a local tavern that served me with the best pub meal I have ever had and a lots of the black stuff to boot.

I cannot wait to get back to Leopardstown for a days racing!
