I was not planning to have a flutter today. Typically racing is too competitive during the festive period. However, I was prompted to try a sneaky treble via a Betfair promotion on Kauto Star.
So, Kauto as the banker in a £12 treble with
- Wolverhampton 3:55: Active Asset and Kames Park
- Wolverhampton 4:25: Scamperdale, Confidentiality, Traphalgar
Result?
So I now have flash money for my favourite race; the Welsh Grand National and my educational trip to Southwell on the 29th.

So you were on Scamperdale too?
I had my eye on it 2or3 days ago when the first odds I saw had it as the rag at 25′s.

Yep.. Quite like the exotic’s as its gives me a chance to be wrong plus adventurous at the same time. I may refocus my attention in this area of betting in the new year.
