The Winter Betting Assault

It’s the 1st of November and officially the start of the All Weather and National Hunt seasons. The aim of this post is to outline my betting strategy for the cold and chilly months ahead.
All Weather Racing
3yo+ handicaps up to 1 mile with the exception of
- Races at Great Leighs
- Fillies/Mares, Apprentice, 2/3yo only, and Selling handicaps.
National Hunt
- Beginner/Novice Hurdles and Chases
Bet Types
- Win – When I have a strong opinion
- Lays – Against vulnerable/false favourites
- Exacta – Predominately in low grade All Weather Handicaps (chaos races)
- Trading – Short priced favourites or market leaders
The betting calendar will list the races I intend to punt in during the week. Pre race tissues, selections and results can be found on the Lilly Pad.
